Each passing month, LFF receives a lot of rescue calls, post operative cases and a high number of abandonment cases. We strive to answer each one and help the distressed animal by sheltering them and providing them with the right nutrition and care.

With great responsibility and care, comes great expenditure. We don’t want to compromise on any aspect of the welfare of our pawsome beings. Each donated penny is being fruitfully used in our cause. Day in and day out, the funds are released for each call.

Gift a meal program

Under this program, you will be sponsoring a meal for our doggos at the shelter. You could do this on your convenient day, may it be your birthday, anniversary, remembering your close ones or a loved ones special day, we’ve got you covered!  Gift a meal is the right option if you want to make the best out of an occasion.

Our LFF has been registered under section 80G which provides tax benefits for all the donors. After making a donation, you will be receiving the receipt through your mail which you can use to claim it. You will be able to achieve a 50% reduction in your taxable amount.

  • I went to the shelter to meet a dog I wanted to foster. I was amazed at how friendly all the dogs were. They just flocked me and started wagging their tails as if they were all mine. 🙂 the kennels and the place is well maintained. Few dogs are under recovery from injuries they sustained before their rescue. The caretaker is very friendly and patient and answers all your questions with a genuine smile. I saw one doggo with paralyzed hind legs running around in his wheelchair! Visit the place and spend sometime with them. Do donate because the doggos there deserve it 🙂

    I have been visiting this place recently. The place is really genuine. The caretaker has a lot of compassion for the animals at the shelter. The dogs are well taken care of. I would like to encourage anyone who is reading this to donate with an open heart or contribute passively by adopting some dog the or better still adopting am animal. Really loved the place.

    They are doing the great job by supporting the stray dog. I went to adopt puppy small one but they have 1+years dog and 5months old puppy. No breed dog available for adoption All dogs are very friendly. If you are planning to adopt stray dog this place you must visit.

    Love for forgotten is a safe haven for all rescued and abandoned dogs.It was such a lovely experience to visit the shelter today. Sukanya has done such a great job rescuing , healing and rehabilitating these dogs.. Very rare to see such a well run shelter so clean and filled with love and happy vibes of the doggies .. Respect for Sukanya s passion, dedication and perseverance. Will continue visiting and donating to this ngo.. Please do visit the shelter ,take ur kids & family spend some time with the doggies and experience the love and happy vibes .. ❤

    The righteous care for the needs of their animals ( Proverbs:12:10) ' Love for forgotten' is really amazing institution. They have love for the animals. In our area, there was a street dog whose neck was entangled with pvc pipe. I had called this institution and Madam had immediately responded. They had come and spent a whole day for catching the dog and removing the pipe carefully. I am glad that still such kind people and institution around us. Many thanks for the wonderful work. May God use you mightily for this ministry....

    Wonderful home for abandoned and needy stray dogs. This place is heaven for dogs. Sukanya Mam with her team is doing a wonderful and noble service for voiceless beings. My experience during my visit there was so amazing which cannot be expressed in words. It was one of the most wonderful days of my life. Sukanya Mam, please keep it up and God bless you.
